AEW Forbidden Door 2025 is shaping up to be a stacked card filled with thrilling bouts and scores being settled live from the O2 Arena in London, England.
While there are nine matches announced at the time of this writing, there are limited spots for all of the AEW talent with stars from NJPW, STARDOM and CMLL set to appear as well.
From injuries preventing their appearance to competitors coming off the biggest victory of their career, the talent that might miss Forbidden Door are notable because they should be included on the card.
Here are seven AEW stars potentially missing Forbidden Door 2025.
7. Nick Wayne

On the August 20 edition of AEW Dynamite, Nick Wayne revealed that he suffered a foot injury the week prior and was forced to pull himself from AEW Forbidden Door 2025.
Wayne was scheduled to team with his Patriarchy stablemate Kip Sabian to face his former mentor Christian Cage and his longtime tag team partner Adam Copeland on Sunday, August 24.
“The Prodigy” was viewed as the star who was gaining the most from this upcoming tag team match at AEW Forbidden Door at only 20 years old.
While Wayne will miss AEW Forbidden Door, Killswitch, also known as Luchasaurus, made his return and will team with Sabian to face Cope and Christian in London.
