Over the past few weeks, fans have seen MJF in his quest to join The Hurt Syndicate with different bribes and incentives of having him in their group.
While the story has had its entertaining moments, it is more likely for Maxwell Jacob Friedman to form his own faction than join forces with MVP, Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin.
In the past, Friedman has been part of a few groups and shown leadership qualities that could make this one that works better than The Pinnacle or The Firm.
Here are seven AEW stars to potentially join a new MJF faction.
7. Wardlow
When he was first introduced on AEW television, Wardlow became the muscle and bodyguard for Maxwell Jacob Friedman.
Aligned with two years plus, the two men formed a partnership that saw Wardlow do the bidding for Friedman before he had enough and turned his back on his former boss.
While they had a very hostile split, time heals all wounds and might see MJF look to the former three-time TNT Champion to recruit him into this new group.
MJF and Wardlow have so much history together and could help both men’s climb back to the top of All Elite Wrestling moving forward.
