There’s really only one reason Brian Pillman Jr made this list, and that’s because CM Punk himself said he wanted to face him.
But quite frankly, that means, at least at some point in his AEW career, it will happen.
We’ve all seen glimpses of what Pillman can do, but the fact is he’s just been stuck in an undercard tag team for too long now, and it might take a while to shake that off.
But if he starts racking up some singles wins, perhaps it would be alright. The match itself would almost certainly be great, it’s just a question of whether Pillman is deserving of a World Title shot above so many others on the roster.
