Right now, both IYO SKY and Tiffany Stratton sit atop of the WWE women’s division as WWE Women’s World Champion and Women’s Champion respectively.
However, looking at the current free agency market, there are various former women’s champions currently outside of the promotion who could be set for a return.
Whether it be a full-time return or just to make an appearance at the upcoming WWE Evolution 2025 event, these stars could be on their way back to the company in the coming weeks and months.
Here are seven former WWE Women’s Champions to potentially re-sign with the company.
7. Gail Kim
Fired from her role as Head of Talent Relations in TNA Wrestling back in March, Gail Kim would be less a signing for an on screen role in WWE, and more a valuable asset behind-the-scenes.
While fans would no doubt love to see the TNA Hall of Famer appear on WWE programming, Gail Kim was highly regarded in her backstage role in TNA and WWE would be wise to add her to the company’s backstage setup either in NXT or on the main roster.
While there’s no confirmation yet, it was reported that Kim was backstage at a recent NXT taping, so perhaps the wheels are in motion for this one.
Also with WWE Evolution around the corner, a legend such as Kim would certainly be worth celebrating at that event with a cameo appearance.
