WWE today announced a major new development in it’s developmental program, announcing the launch of the new WWE Independent Development (WWE ID) program.
With WWE potentially looking to branch out and sign more independent wrestling names soon, there are a number of current or upcoming free agents who could make the move to the company soon.
Here are 7 free agents to sign with WWE.
7) The Hardys
The Hardys can technically make appearances for WWE NXT whenever they want given their current contract with TNA Wrestling, and the partnership with NXT.
Matt and Jeff Hardy captured the TNA Tag Team Championship in the main event of Bound for Glory last weekend, so they seem to still be locked in with TNA for a while now.
However, given who we are talking about, it’s hard to imagine that we don’t see Matt and Jeff return to WWE some time soon.
One final run and a Hall of Fame induction seems a given for the pair.
