AEW/WWE
Following some criticism from fans, AEW has significantly turned around their tag team division throughout 2025 thanks to the addition of new pairings and an increased focus on the in-ring action.
With Brodido and JetSpeed becoming the hot new tag teams who garnered attention to FTR and Young Bucks putting in their usual excellent performances, the division is bolstered with talent and has placed the spotlight firmly on them.
Considering the recent introduction of AEW Women’s Tag Team Titles, the company should consider bringing some new duos for the men and women that will help to fill in spots needed to have an effective division.
Here are seven potentially new AEW tag team signings.
7. Lacey Lane & Kacy Catanzaro

On the October 7 Title Tuesday edition of AEW Dynamite, Mercedes Mone defeated the debuting Lacey Lane to retain the TBS Championship.
The star, formerly known as Kayden Carter, was released from her WWE contract in May 2025 and also recently appeared on an episode of ROH TV in a match against Mina Shirakawa.
With Lane making her arrival, it now opens the door for AEW to bring in her longtime tag team partner during her time in WWE, Kacy Catanzaro.
The former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions were one of the longest standing duos in the company and could bring that experience to help bolster the AEW women’s tag scene.
