In 2024, WWE reshaped the landscape of the company by adding new championship gold on Raw, SmackDown and NXT.
With WWE’s roster as large as it is, there is still room for one or two more titles to be added in the coming year.
Here are seven new WWE championships to be introduced in 2025.
7. WWE NXT Evolve Men’s, Women’s & Tag Team Championships
In this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that the Evolve independent promotion is in line for a return under the WWE banner.
Replacing the recently canceled NXT LevelUp, Evolve will be lead by Evolve’s founder Gabe Sapolsky and is reportedly planned to feature storylines as well as matches like a traditional WWE TV program.
According to Meltzer this show will be first revealed in a “few months”, however, further details are sparse at this time.
With this exciting announcement, it seems likely that the new show will also need its own championships for its male and female roster, as well as tag team gold. This announcement ,combined with WWE ID’s launch represents even more opportunities for the company’s next generation of talent to get a spotlight.
