Since Triple H took charge of WWE creative he has put a great focus on factions across Raw and SmackDown.

From The Bloodline to The Judgment Day, these groups have been the focal point of WWE television and dictated the direction of the storylines.

Whether it be stars who need backup or coming together for a common goal, there are plenty of new units that could form in 2025, particularly as some existing groups cease to exist.

With all the changes that have occurred to start 2025, here are seven potential new WWE factions.

7. DIY Aligns With Pretty Deadly

WWE's DIY and Pretty Deadly

After turning heel and winning the WWE Tag Team Championships, DIY have found themselves being hunted down by nearly every duo on SmackDown.

Dealing with both the Motor City Machine Guns and Street Profits, Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa have been in need of some assistance over the past few weeks.

When asked by SmackDown GM Nick Aldis who attacked the Street Profits, it was Pretty Deadly who lied to help DIY avoid the consequences of their apparent backstage attack.

Pretty Deadly helping DIY retain their titles against Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley on the January 3 SmackDown could lead to these two tag teams coming together, all with the purpose to keep Gargano and Ciampa as champions.
