Over the past year, there have many different stars who have been signed and made their way over to the WWE SmackDown brand.
Looking at the current roster, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa and The Motor City Machine Guns have all immediately made a name for themselves on the blue brand.
In more recent months, Rey Fenix has been a standout and has made his presence felt on SmackDown, which could open the door for more signings to make their way on the program.
With the current slate of talent on their way or with the potential to join the company, here are seven new WWE signings for SmackDown.
7. Aleister Black
The April 25 episode of Friday Night SmackDown will see the reemergence of a dark and mysterious figure in Aleister Black coming back into the fold.
The former AEW star has been absent from the company since 2021 and makes his way back to a completely different WWE than the one he left previously.
With Triple H at the helm of creative, Black has someone he is very familiar working with from their time together in NXT and could be in line for the biggest push he’s ever received on the WWE main roster.
Black has everything it takes from in-ring ability, talking skills and overall presence that could make him a main event level talent on the SmackDown brand following his return.
