7 Possible Final Casino Ladder Match Entrants

3. Dustin Rhodes

Dustin Rhodes was brutally beaten by Lance Archer a few weeks ago. He was unable to defeat the Murderhawk Monster in the TNT Championship tournament and Archer left him bloody. He has not been on Dynamite since and a surprise return at Double or Nothing could be in the cards for Dustin.

Dustin isn’t your prototypical ladder match performer by any means but he is a master storyteller. Being in the match with a number of younger and more athletic performers would give Dustin a chance to tell a different kind of story.

2. PAC

This one is tricky. PAC hasn’t been on Dynamite in months due to the pandemic. Getting him into the United States may prove difficult as traveling to other countries is still not easy at the moment but if he was able to make it for Double or Nothing PAC could win the whole thing. He is a main event level performer with a history with Jon Moxley and he hasn’t gotten an AEW World Championship match to date.

Not to mention he would likely be the best ladder match performer in the whole match. The only people who could rival him would likely be Darby Allin and Rey Fenix but PAC can throw down with the best of them. If he can make it in, he should be a favourite.

1. Brian Cage

The big man from Impact Wrestling. Reports swirled earlier this year saying Brian Cage had signed with AEW. He and his wife vehemently denied this but that could be the case of just trying to keep things under wraps. He tore his biceps when he left Impact so he has been on the shelf until now. It has been a few months and it could be the time for Cage to make his return to the ring.

Cage would fit in very well with AEW as there are a ton of people who have stated they would love to work with him. He is also so physically impressive that he could easily be pushed to the top of the card immediately. Cage has never worked with guys like Kenny Omega and Jon Moxley so a debut in the Casino Ladder Match could do him a ton of good.
