WrestleMania Backlash takes place in just over two weeks, and Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns doesn’t have a clear challenger.
While many thought WWE was preparing for a big show without Reigns, that reportedly isn’t the case as Dave Meltzer has said that Reigns is actually scheduled to be in the main event of the May 8 show.
The only question is, who on earth is he going to be facing?
WWE hasn’t exactly built up an abundance of credible challengers, so bear with me as we take a look at seven possible options.
There are a couple of notable omissions I’ll quickly mention before I get shouted at because people think I forgot them:
- Madcap Moss – Seems pretty obvious he’ll be facing Happy Corbin
- Gunther – Too soon, plus he’s a heel
- Bobby Lashley – I imagine he’ll be facing Omos again, or MVP
Now let’s take a look at the seven that did make the cut…
