7. Samoa Joe Dethrones Hangman Adam Page For AEW World Championship

At AEW WrestleDream 2025, Hangman Adam Page defeated Samoa Joe to retain the AEW World Title. Post match, Joe and The Opps turned heel on Page with a three-on-one beatdown.
Joe would go on to defeat HOOK, Ricochet and Bobby Lashley in a four-way to become the number one contender for the AEW World Championship at Full Gear.
After another attack on the AEW Dynamite: Blood & Guts special, Hangman issued a challenge for a Steel Cage Match at AEW Full Gear 2025.
The November 22 pay-per-view could see Joe be the one to dethrone Page to win the AEW World Championship in Newark.
