7 Surprises At WWE Evolution 2025

WWE

For the first time in seven years, WWE Evolution makes its return to the company’s premium live event schedule – with Atlanta’s State Farm Arena hosting the event on Sunday, July 13.

Much like the original Evolution event in 2018, surprises will be anticipated by the fans in Atlanta and watching on at home – with former WWE stars returning, titles changing hands and big storyline twists occurring.

Here are seven potential surprises we could see at WWE Evolution 2025.

7. Jacy Jayne Successfully Defends NXT Women’s Championship Due To Blake Monroe

At the WWE NXT Great American Bash PLE, Blake Monroe secured a pinfall victory over NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne during the main event tag team match.

While Monroe and Jayne’s WWE Evolution challenger Jorydnne Grace appeared to be the best of friends on Saturday, things may look different by the time Evolution comes around.

With Monroe holding a pinfall win over Jayne, we could see “The Glamour” potentially interject in the match at Evolution, costing Grace her title opportunity either on purpose, or inadvertently.

A heel turn has already reportedly been discussed for Monroe, but it may be a little too soon to pull the trigger on that effectively. So instead, perhaps expect Monroe to attempt to fend off Fatal Influence during the match, but somehow cost Grace what would be her first title win in WWE.
