TNA/AEW
With TNA Wrestling confirming that a weekly show has been picked up to air on the AMC cable network, there could be big names coming soon.
From unlikely defectors from AEW to a familiar face from WWE who could be looking to show off a brand new persona — there are some interesting choices for who could pop-up for the inaugural broadcast.
Here are seven new TNA Wrestling signings that could arrive for the AMC TV debut of Thursday Night Impact! set to kick off January 15, 2026.
7. Chris Jericho

Instead of signing with WWE straight away, it could be a massive coup for TNA Wrestling to reveal on their inaugural broadcast on AMC that they signed the legend.
Able to be an absolute anchor for the new TV era for TNA Wrestling, Chris Jericho could be pivotal for the network launch of the company.
With the working relationship between TNA Wrestling and WWE, it would make complete sense to see Jericho pop-up on NXT or the main roster in the future but it would be a major move for Jericho to defect from AEW for TNA Wrestling.
In what would be just as fascinating from a business perspective as it is a personal one, the relaunch of the 9x World Champion on TNA Wrestling in January 2026 after long persisting rumors he was re-signing with WWE could be huge.
