WWE
With the winds of change blowing in WWE after the retirement of John Cena, there could be a brand new crop of champions coming soon.
From a match that is already set for the first week of 2026 to others that have been teased already — there could be some big title changes coming in the first part of the year.
Here are seven WWE Championship changes that could be coming soon.
7. World Heavyweight Champion — Bron Breakker

When Seth Rollins was taken out of action due to injury in real life, in storyline it was Bron Breakker who took him out.
Seemingly hesitant to give back the WWE World Heavyweight Championship once it within his grasp, Breakker did not forget about his quest to bring the title back to The Vision.
Breakker will face CM Punk for a shot at the title on the first WWE Raw on Netflix in 2026 on January 5.
Potentially closing in on his first World title victory, Breakker could go on to face any number of opponents as the Road to WrestleMania kicks off including a re-match with Punk, Roman Reigns or even Brock Lesnar.
