6. Speedball Mike Bailey
It’s almost become a running joke that former TNA star Speedball Mike Bailey has been expected to show up in AEW for weeks now, but there’s been no sign of him.
While the best bet is probably still that he’ll show up there soon, it is a situation that’s somewhat reminiscent of something that happened last year.
All signs were pointing to the Motor City Machine Guns joining AEW, but they ended up in WWE, beat the Bloodline to win the WWE Tag Team Championship within a couple of weeks, and just wrestled in front of over 60,000 people at the Royal Rumble.
Until Bailey does actually show up in AEW, we can’t rule out a similar situation playing out again.
