5. Malakai Black
Malakai Black has truly been written off AEW TV, with the rest of the House of Black having been rebranded as the Hounds of Hell.
While some fans were hoping to see a WWE return in the Royal Rumble, he’s still technically under contract with AEW so that was never possible.
However, that contract is expected to end in either February or March, so he’ll be free and ready to sign with WWE in the near future.
There have been some whispers about him retiring all together, but unless something’s changed from a couple of years ago when he originally requested his AEW release, he’s been wanting to join a WWE now headed up by the booker who made him the top star of NXT a few years ago, Triple H.
