Since Def Rebel took over WWE music production in 2019, their output has often been the source of fan frustration and ridicule.
The 2025 Royal Rumble was the breaking point however, with the men’s and women’s Rumble matches showcasing the lack of instantly recognisable entrance themes that were once such an important aspect of a WWE star’s presentation.
While Def Rebel have had some successes, many fans are hoping for a big change in WWE’s music production soon, or at the very least seeing some of the company’s most offensive tracks changed.
Following AJ Styles receiving his old theme back at the Royal Rumble, here are seven more WWE stars to change entrance themes soon.
7. Sheamus
Who else could we have started this list with but Sheamus? The man who, after years of fan outcry, finally received his old theme ‘Written in my Face’ back upon returning to TV in April last year.
Fans’ joy was short-lived however, as for some strange reason WWE would later debut a brand new, way more generic theme ’10 Beats Of The Bodhrán’ just three months later.
Sadly Sheamus has been saddled with this new Def Rebel joint ever since, a song that is not only a massive downgrade from Written in my Face, but also his CFO$ theme ‘Hellfire’.
Hopefully WWE do the right thing and give Sheamus back ‘Written in my Face’ once again in the lead up to WrestleMania 41, only this time for good.
