Nicknames and monikers are so important to establishing how fans recognise and remember a pro wrestler and WWE star.
From the presentation to the character, these nicknames play a crucial role in cementing a talent as a bonafide star in the industry.
In WWE, it has become what separates legends from just a regular star on the roster a lot of times. Looking at the current scene, there are several stars who could gain a lot from introducing a new moniker to go by.
Here are seven WWE star to potentially debut new nicknames.
7. Chad Gable – “The Luchador Whisperer”
After several failures against the masked wrestlers in WWE, Chad Gable went to Mexico to discover the dark arts of lucha libre at the behest of Dominik Mysterio.
Following this journey, a new luchador emerged that had some striking resemblances to Gable in El Grande Americano.
Picking up several wins against top luchadors like Dragon Lee and Rey Fenix, Gable found himself a strong ally against his enemies.
This should give Gable a new nickname of “The Luchador Whisperer” since he seems to be the only friend of Americano since his arrival in WWE.
