With the arrival of Penta, and rumors about Malakai Black, Rey Fenix, Ricky Starks and more, there has been plenty of talk about AEW stars who could be on their way to WWE.
However, there are also a number of talents who could go in the opposite direction, and exit WWE in favor of joining becoming All Elite.
Here are seven current WWE stars who could join AEW.
7. Chad Gable
Chad Gable only re-signed with WWE last year, so unless he’s released, he might have to wait a while before joining AEW is a possibility.
When that time does come though, we already know there are plenty of Gable admirers in AEW who would love to have him on the roster.
When Gable re-signed, it seemed like he was on the up, but since then, that hasn’t really come to fruition and he’s still on the losing side of things a lot more than he’s on the winning side.
If things don’t change and people are still calling Gable “underutilized” in a couple of years’ time, perhaps it’ll be time to make the switch.
