Tag Team wrestling has seen an increase in TV time and focus over the past 12 months in WWE.
From the revival of the SmackDown tag team division, to the reemergence of The War Raiders and The New Day on WWE Raw, the main roster has been on the up as of late.
Meanwhile, NXT has been dominated by one of the best duos in wrestling, Nathan Frazer and Axiom. With these tandems getting more time than in years past, there will surely be some splits in the coming 12 months.
With the new year expected to provide some dramatic breakups, here are seven WWE tag teams to potentially split in 2025.
7. Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill
Since November 22, Bianca Belair has been on the hunt for the mystery attacker of her tag team partner and friend Jade Cargill over on SmackDown.
Belair and Cargill have gone from potential in-ring opponents to tag team partners to close friends over the course of the past year.
While Belair has been trying to figure out who attacked Cargill, it has seemed like many fans expect this story to lead to the demise of arguably the most dominant WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions in history.
The recent replacing of Cargill by Naomi should draw some ire from the former AEW star and lead to her coming back with some anger towards her former ‘Big Three’ members in 2025.
