8 AEW Returns Coming Soon

On the January 7 edition of AEW Dynamite, Andrade El Idolo made his return to the company for the first time since the October 1 Sixth Anniversary show.

Meanwhile, AEW Maximum Carnage 2026 will see Kenny Omega make his return to the company and look to reinsert himself into the world title picture.

Looking ahead, there could be even more stars making their comeback to the promotion in the weeks and months to come.

Here are eight AEW returns potentially coming soon.

8. Thunder Rosa

Following AEW All In: Texas 2025, it was revealed that Thunder Rosa was taking time off to recover from an undisclosed injury.

Most recently, fans saw Rosa backstage during the January 10 edition of AEW Collision via social media videos with Queen Aminata and Red Velvet.

While the tapings took place in her home state of Texas, it could indicate that the former AEW Women’s World Champion is on her way back.

Rosa returning could allow her to position herself into one of the title pictures in the AEW women’s division.
