AEW
AEW Forbidden Door 2025 has already announced an all-star lineup of talent across nine different matches on the card for Sunday, August 24.
However, with talent appearing from NJPW, STARDOM and CMLL, it becomes a bit limited for spots for everyone in All Elite Wrestling.
While most of the AEW roster will be part of this card, there are several different stars who look like they will miss the show from the O2 Arena in London, England.
Here are eight AEW stars potentially missing Forbidden Door 2025.
8. Ricochet

Ricochet has been a featured talent on almost every AEW pay-per-view in 2025 so far.
As of late, Ricochet has assembled a new crew alongside Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona of the Gates of Agony.
After facing the likes of Swerve Strickland, Mark Briscoe and Kenny Omega on PPV, it looks like Ricochet might be on the outside looking in on this year’s Forbidden Door.
Despite squaring off with top stars all year, Ricochet might miss his first pay-per-view of 2025 when AEW Forbidden Door takes place.
