WWE has more top level talent than it has probably ever had or at the very least in the past several years.
With all the main eventers and top stars on the roster, there are many big matches that are teased or discussed that never come to fruition.
Whether it be down to injuries or just not working out at that time, these potential tantalising bouts have been scrapped for the time being and saved for another time.
With WrestleMania 41 in the rearview mirror, here are eight big WWE matches potentially scrapped.
8. Randy Orton vs. Kevin Owens
Heading into WWE WrestleMania 41, Randy Orton was on a collision course with his former friend-turned-rival in Kevin Owens.
However, the wrestling world was left shocked to learn that Owens had to undergo serious neck surgery that required him to miss The Show of Shows.
In his place, Orton had to have an open challenge for the 20th WrestleMania appearance of his legendary career.
Facing TNA World Champion Joe Hendry, Orton was still able to take part in a memorable moment on the show, but his quest to punt kick KO will have to wait a little while longer to be completed.
