7. MJF Sets Sights On AEW World Championship
AEW Summer Blockbuster will feature Hurt Syndicate’s MJF teaming with Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin for the first time as they face Speedball Mike Bailey, Kevin Knight and Komander in a trios match.
While this matchup will be more important towards what’s next for the AEW World Tag Team Titles, it will also assist in MJF’s real goal.
For the past several months, Maxwell Jacob Friedman has made it no secret that he wants to recapture the AEW World Championship.
With a showdown with Mistico already being teased for AEW Grand Slam: Mexico, these upcoming contests will only help for MJF to firmly set his sights on the top prize in the company.
