8 Heel Turns At AEW Dynasty 2026 AEW

This Saturday, April 12, All Elite Wrestling will present their latest pay-per-view with AEW Dynasty 2026 from Vancouver.

The company has already announced some major matches that could shake the foundation of AEW, but there could be some character shifts that have that same effect.

Here are eight potential heel turns at AEW Dynasty 2026.

8. Chris Jericho

On the April 1 edition of AEW Dynamite, Chris Jericho made his return to the company for the first time in a year.

With this show taking place from his hometown of Winnipeg, Jericho received a positive reaction from the fans in attendance.

Now that he is back in the promotion, Jericho should get some cheers from the fans who have missed him over the past 12 months, but this favor from the audience could be short-lived.

Jericho showing the world his real intentions for his return by turning heel would be a memorable moment that will give everyone a glimpse of what is next for the legend at AEW Dynasty 2026.

7. Isiah Kassidy

Private Party (Isiah Kassidy & Marq Quen) returned to AEW following a 13 month absence on the February 11, 2026 episode of Dynamite

On the March 28 edition of AEW Collision, Jon Moxley and Daniel Garcia of the Death Riders defeated Private Party.

During the course of the bout, Marq Quen suffered an apparent injury that will lead to him being out of action for a long time.

This led to Isiah Kassidy saying that he is going to be out for revenge for his injured tag team partner.

However, Kassidy could display a new side of himself by aligning with the group responsible for his partner’s injury in The Death Riders or even The Hurt Syndicate, who are looking for a new member of their faction.

6. Keith Lee

Back in December 2023, Keith Lee was removed from the lineup for AEW World End 2023 due to lingering back injuries.

“The Limitless One” was once one of the most popular stars on the AEW roster and seen as someone who could be involved in the main event picture.

However, Lee being on the sidelines for over two years could open the door for a different side of himself emerging upon his return to in-ring action.

Lee turning heel would be an impactful way for the former AEW World Tag Team Champion to make his return, especially if it were to come at the Dynasty 2026 pay-per-view.

5. Mina Shirakawa

Following the AEW Revolution 2026 pay-per-view, Timeless Toni Storm was found attacked backstage in a pool of her own blood.

This led to Mina Shirakawa being on the hunt to find whoever was responsible for this attack.

After a victory over Marina Shafir on the March 18 episode of AEW Dynamite, Shirakawa turned her attention to AEW Women’s World Champion Thekla and the Sisters of Sin.

However, this could all reveal that Shirakawa was behind the attack herself and turning heel to reveal herself at the AEW Dynasty 2026 event on April 12.

4. Hikaru Shida

On the April 2 edition of AEW Collision, Willow Nightingale defeated the returning Hikaru Shida to retain the TBS Championship.

After the loss, Shida was seen behind Nightingale with her signature kendo stick, looking on the verge of attacking the champion until deciding not to.

The former three-time AEW Women’s World Champion was letting frustration get the best of her, which leaves the door open for a heel turn to come soon.

Shida turning heel on Willow would immediately put her back in a top position in the AEW women’s division if it takes place at the Dynasty 2026 event.

3. Kris Statlander

At AEW Revolution 2026, Thekla defeated Kris Statlander in a two-out-of-three falls match to retain the AEW Women’s World Championship.

Since then, Statlander has been somewhat lost on where to go next with her career after coming up short in her bid to regain the title.

“The Cosmic Killer” has been in the championship picture for the better part of a year and could go in a number of different directions following this loss.

While she could remain a babyface, Statlander might decide to turn against her friends in Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron to stand on her own coming out of AEW Dynasty 2026.

2. Kevin Knight

Over the past few months, Kevin Knight has become one of the fastest rising stars on the entire AEW roster.

At AEW Revolution 2026, Knight teamed with his JetSpeed tag team partner “Speedball” Mike Bailey and Mistico to defeat Don Callis Family’s Kyle Fletcher, Kazuchika Okada and Mark Davis to win the AEW World Trios Championships.

Meanwhile, “The Jet” has also excelled in singles competition, taking both MJF for the AEW World Title and Okada for the International Championship to their limits in title matches in recent weeks.

After months of Swerve Strickland telling him that he needs to show his killer instinct, this could lead to Knight joining forces with the former AEW World Champion and turning heel on his friends at AEW Dynasty 2026 to fully embrace his dark side.

1. “Hangman” Adam Page

“Hangman” Adam Page can no longer challenge for the AEW World Title after losing to MJF at Revolution 2026

At the AEW Revolution 2026 pay-per-view, MJF defeated “Hangman” Adam Page in a Texas Death Match to retain the AEW World Title.

Thanks to this loss, Page can no longer challenge for the top prize in All Elite Wrestling as long as he lives thanks to a pre-match agreement.

With his future now in question, “Hangman” might find himself at a crossroads in his career and not knowing where to head next.

Knowing the only way for him to get back to the AEW World Title is by breaking his word, Page might be forced to turn heel and betray his own morals to get what he desires the most at AEW Dynasty 2026.
