With WWE SummerSlam 2025 poised to host the first-ever two night version of the event, at least one heel turn seems certain.

However with multiple potential candidates for who could turn heel at the big event – there are actually quite a few suspects of which stars could find it advantageous to turn to the dark side.

Here are eight potential heel turns at WWE SummerSlam 2025.

8. Cody Rhodes

There was a major temperature check of WWE fans when The Rock was attempting to finagle Cody Rhodes into joining him on the dark side.

While Rhodes ultimately rebuffed the Final Boss’ offer at that time, the road since has proven that perhaps in order to get the job done – Cody may have to embrace his dark side.

With an entirely reasonable character rationale for going full heel during his SummerSlam 2025 street fight against John Cena – perhaps the match could end up revealing a decidedly darker tone.

Since there have already been some slight teases that perhaps a shift is coming – it is possible that the time is now. Or perhaps more likely – Cody will see yet another person turn heel on him.
