Over the course of the past six years, there have been a fair share of WWE legends who have left the promotion to make their way over to AEW.
The likes of Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley and Chris Jericho have all made lasting impacts in AEW after successful multi-year stints in WWE.
Recently, Adam Copeland and Bobby Lashley chose to leave WWE after reaching legendary status to then sign with AEW.
Looking at the potential stars who could make their way over to the promotion, here are eight legends to potentially leave WWE and join AEW.
8. Shane McMahon
Shane McMahon has long been discussed as potentially signing with All Elite Wrestling since he was sighted in a meeting with Tony Khan in the summer of 2024.
McMahon last appeared on WWE programming back in 2023 when he was injured in a match with The Miz at WrestleMania 39.
“Shane O Mac” is one of the last remaining McMahon family members left in the pro wrestling business and would provide one of the most shocking moments in the industry if he appears in AEW.
If Tony Khan wants to surprise his fans in a massive way, he won’t find a more jaw dropping debut quite on the level of Shane McMahon walking into his company.
