There are a lot of stars in WWE who could benefit from finding a new side to their character through working in a tag team.
From old alliances that could be re-visited to brand new pairings, there are plenty of options for fresh teams in WWE.
Here are eight new tag teams that could form in WWE.
8. The Lucha Brothers (Penta & Rey Fenix)
Since both Penta and Rey Fenix joined WWE, Lucha Bros fans have been patiently awaiting the return of the Lucha Brothers.
While they are not a new tag team in their careers – their combination of skills would be brand new in WWE.
At the moment both stars are on different brands and in singles action – however that doesn’t mean that they won’t be a tag team again in the future.
After holding the AEW Tag Team Championships in the past, it would make absolute sense for the pair to reunite at some point – when the moment called for it.
