AEW
On August 24, All Elite Wrestling will present one of their biggest pay-per-views of the year with AEW Forbidden Door 2025 from the O2 Arena in London, England.
The company has already announced quite a few intriguing bouts for the pay-per-view event, but there could also be some possible returns that take place on the night as well.
Whether it be talent returning from injury or a lengthy hiatus, these comebacks would further make Forbidden Door a memorable show that fans in attendance and watching at home won’t soon forget.
Here are eight potential returns at AEW Forbidden Door 2025.
8. Kenny Omega

At AEW All In Texas 2025, Kazuchika Okada defeated Kenny Omega to become the first ever AEW Unified Champion.
Following the event, Don Callis stated that Omega was “dead” after suffering this loss at one of the biggest AEW pay-per-views of the year.
With Omega currently out of action, it looks possible that he could miss the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door event.
Considering his past comments about what this show means to him, Omega could return at AEW Forbidden Door 2025 as a surprise for the fans in London.
