2025 has been a year of talent overhaul for All Elite Wrestling (AEW) with several stars leaving the promotion to bring in new talent.
While the likes of The Lucha Bros, Ricky Starks and Mariah May have left the company, they have brought in free agents that have helped fill the void left by departing stars.
From Josh Alexander and Kevin Knight to Megan Bayne and Speedball Mike Bailey, the success of these new acquisitions has opened the door for AEW to bring in more talent that could add more depth to every division in the company.
Here are eight potential new AEW signings.
8. Cedric Alexander
Back in February, WWE had a slate of talent cuts that included stars from both the main roster and NXT.
Out of these WWE releases, Cedric Alexander was the one name that many fans assumed could get an opportunity to join the AEW roster.
Thanks to his relationship with MVP, Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin during their time together in The Hurt Business back in WWE, Alexander could find an immediate role over in All Elite Wrestling with his former stablemates.
Besides coming in as a member of The Hurt Syndicate, Cedric’s in-ring style would fit in nicely with AEW and he could become a reliable worker who could deliver numerous memorable encounters along the way.
