AEW
On Saturday, December 27, All Elite Wrestling will return to pay-per-view for the AEW Worlds End 2025 event.
On a night that will feature championship gold on the line and the finals of the Continental Classic, there will be plenty of developments that may shock fans throughout this event.
From title changes to new storyline directions, there could be any number of surprising moments from Chicago on December 27.
Here are eight potential surprises at AEW Worlds End 2025.
8. Kazuchika Okada Doesn’t Make Finals Of Continental Classic

Back at AEW Worlds End 2024, Kazuchika Okada defeated Will Ospreay to win the Continental Classic tournament and retain the AEW Continental Championship.
Heading into the 2025 tournament, many fans believed it was a foregone conclusion that the current Continental Champion would be back in the finals this year.
After suffering a loss in the first Gold League match to his Don Callis Family stablemate Kyle Fletcher, there is a possibility that “The Rainmaker” may miss out on this year’s finals.
With the likes of Fletcher, Konosuke Takeshita, Jon Moxley and Speedball Mike Bailey all seeming like favorites to make it to AEW Worlds End 2025, there could be a chance that Okada could miss the semifinals and finals completely.
