8 WWE Debut Plans For AEW’s Mariah May

8 WWE Debut Plans For AEW’s Mariah May WWE/AEW

Reports from various sources have emerged recently stating that Mariah May’s AEW contract could be expiring soon, with some people in the company expecting her to leave and head to WWE.

With her potential move to WWE, there are a multitude of different options the company could take in introducing Mariah to their audience in a major way.

Here are eight potential WWE debut plans for AEW’s Mariah May.

8. Challenge Stephanie Vaquer For The NXT Women’s Championship

The WWE NXT brand has assembled one of the most talented women’s divisions of any company or weekly TV show.

With Mariah May expressing how WWE is her dream in the past, it is very reminiscent of similar rumors that circulated regarding Stephanie Vaquer before they arrived in the promotion.

Looking at the immediate success Vaquer has had since signing with WWE, it would make a lot of sense if Mariah came in to immediately feud with “La Primera.”

Having May come in to challenge Vaquer for the NXT Women’s Championship would be a great way to introduce “The Glamour” to the WWE audience and put her in a prominent role right off the bat.

7. Rivalry With Jordynne Grace On NXT

Another star who recently arrived on WWE NXT is three-time TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace.

Immediately thrusting herself into a top position, Grace is about to challenge for the NXT Women’s Championship in a four-way at NXT Stand & Deliver on April 19.

With her unique blend of size, strength and speed, Grace would make for an ideal first rival for Mariah May in WWE.

The two stars will be in WWE’s plans for the future and could become main event level performers on the main roster, so it would be wise to place Grace and May in a rivalry early that could develop over time from NXT to Raw or SmackDown.
