All Elite Wrestling (AEW) has not slowed down picking up talent and adding to its already stacked roster of stars, and some former WWE names could be next in line.
From Speedball Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight to Megan Bayne and Josh Alexander, these free agent signings have immediately made an impact in the promotion and become weekly characters on the company’s television.
The current free agent market has become bolstered with the recent WWE releases and various stars spending the past few months available to pick up.
Here are eight free agents to potentially sign with AEW.
8. Cedric Alexander
There has been no other free agent who has been mentioned more to potentially join the AEW roster over the past few months more than Cedric Alexander.
After being released from WWE back in February, fans immediately started speculating about Alexander making the move to All Elite Wrestling.
The former WWE Cruiserweight Champion shares a long history with MVP, Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin dating back to their days together in The Hurt Business.
With his exceptional in-ring ability and potential role in the Hurt Syndicate, Cedric feels like a logical choice to be the next signing for AEW sooner rather than later.
