WWE NXT is enjoying a hot streak as 2024 comes to a close, with their final PLE of the year Deadline just around the corner.
One thing that has aided the show’s success throughout the year has been all the fresh faces appearing for the first time. Whether that be via the TNA Wrestling partnership, legends, or brand new signings, NXT’s roster is far from stale heading into the new year.
When analysing the wider wrestling world however, there are plenty other names who could soon make their NXT debuts. Here are eight names we could see show face soon.
8. Josh Alexander
At Northern Crown Wrestling’s November 17 event in Toronto, Canada, TNA Wrestling’s Josh Alexander announced his impending retirement from the independent scene.
The timing of the decision has raised many eyebrows, considering the Walking Weapon’s contract with TNA is reportedly set to expire in February 2025.
With TNA already triggering a one-year extension on his deal the previous year, it seems unlikely that Alexander will re-sign.
Many fans are eager to see TNA’s longest ever reigning world champion try his hand in WWE, and if the company are interested then he would likely slot in on Tuesday nights before moving on to the main roster in the future.
