8 WWE NXT Debuts For The CW Network Season Premiere

Following SmackDown’s debut on the USA Network it is now the turn of WWE NXT, as they begin life on The CW on October 1.

WWE typically like to bring out the big guns for these premiere episodes and NXT is set to be no different, with the show being staged in a bigger venue, championships being determined and top stars like CM Punk appearing on the show.

While that much is guaranteed, many fans are also expecting to see some big debuts take place on the show also, with several notable names potentially set to appear.

Here are eight WWE NXT debuts for The CW Network season premiere on October 1.

8. Zilla Fatu

Over the weekend it was announced by Game Changer Wrestling that Zilla Fatu would no longer be appearing for the promotion, leading to many fans questioning whether a move to WWE could be in his future.

A further report from Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp confirmed that Fatu had in fact not signed with WWE, with the son of the late Umaga still being booked for upcoming independent events.

However, reports in the recent past have indicated that Fatu is on WWE’s radar, so this move is expected to be made at some point.

Next week’s CW premiere may be a bit too soon, but with Fatu a free agent there is always the possibility we could still see it happen.
