In a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet, MJF discussed WWE still having interest in him coming to the company.

While he is once again the AEW World Champion, Maxwell Jacob Friedman has not been shy about defending the top prize in All Elite Wrestling against stars outside of the company.

Following his recent match with Alec Price for Limitless Wrestling and his upcoming bout against Zilla Fatu for HOG, there is always the chance a WWE star could potentially square off with the current AEW World Champion.

Here are eight WWE stars to potentially face AEW World Champion MJF.

8. AJ Styles

At WWE Royal Rumble 2026, GUNTHER defeated AJ Styles to retire him from the company due to the prematch stipulation.

While this loss should have closed the book on his career, Styles put his signature gloves back on after the match to signal that he could return to the squared circle sometime down the road.

With Styles’ WWE contract about to expire, fans could see “The Phenomenal One” explore his options outside of the promotion sooner rather than later.

Styles is the WWE star who could realistically face MJF in the near future, whether it be in an AEW ring or outside of it.
