7. Berto
Berto may seem like a bit of a random choice for this list, but according to reports the Legado Del Fantasm member’s contract with WWE was due to expire on August 1.
This date has now passed and as far as we know Berto is still in the company, but the lack of news is a bit strange, especially when it was revealed last month that his partner Angel had agreed new terms with WWE.
It’s likely that Berto will stay put also, and has perhaps already agreed a stay which just hasn’t been reported yet, but until that news breaks we have to put him in the conversation for a move away.
Admittedly it’s difficult to imagine where Berto fits in in AEW’s huge roster, but you never know it could make for a better move than what he’s doing now in WWE.
