After an attack at the hands of Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez on WWE NXT, Rhea Ripley will be out of action for an undisclosed amount of time with a ruptured orbital bone.
The injury is indeed legitimate according to reports, leaving WWE in a difficult situation considering Ripley’s status as the top babyface female star in the company.
With Rhea out of action, the company will have to look to the rest of the roster and outside of it to replace the former WWE Women’s World Champion.
Here are eight WWE stars who could potentially replace Rhea Ripley following her injury.
8. Becky Lynch
The first name to make a WWE return many fans thought of after the news of Rhea Ripley’s injury was Becky Lynch.
Since May, Lynch has been absent from the company’s programming after losing the WWE Women’s World Championship and her contract expiring.
The Man is a bonafide legend for the company at this point and among the biggest draws who has been consistently reliable for WWE.
After Lynch already filled a void following Ripley’s injury in April, it should be no surprise if the promotion calls on her again to make her return with Ripley out once again.
