9 Brutal Elimination Chamber Match Eliminations

6. Shayna Baszler Eliminates Natalya – Elimination Chamber 2020

The Elimination Chamber 2020 main event was Shayna Baszler’s match. Entering fourth, Baszler eliminated all 5 of her opponents to become No.1 Contender to Becky Lynch’s Raw Women’s Championship.

Although everyone either tapped or passed out to the Kirifuda Clutch, some eliminations were more brutal than others.

Natalya’s elimination was particularly wince-inducing. Immediately after choking out both Sarah Logan and Ruby Riott, Baszler threw The Queen of Hearts into an empty pod. With nowhere for her victim to escape, the MMA Horsewoman relentlessly stomped Natalya into the steel grating.

Sadistically smiling as the Canadian veteran scrambled to her feet,  Baszler repeatedly slammed the pod door into Natalya’s face. Finally showing “mercy”, The Queen of Spades pulled Natalya into the Kirifuda Clutch, finally allowing her to submit.

Heading into WrestleMania 36, Baszler felt like the biggest threat to The Man’s title reign. Moments like this show why Baszler was so feared.

5. Chris Jericho (and Shawn Michaels) Eliminates Undertaker – Elimination Chamber 2010

This elimination set the stage for one of the biggest matches in WrestleMania history.

Losing the 2010 Royal Rumble match, Shawn Michaels had ran out of opportunities to earn a WrestleMania rematch with Undertaker. Obsessed with facing The Deadman once more, HBK decided to tempt fate during the Elimination Chamber 2010 main event.

This championship match came down to two competitors, Chris Jericho, and the World Heavyweight Champion, Undertaker. After an entertaining back and forth, it looked as if The Deadman was preparing to retain his title, before Michaels emerged.

Crawling out from his hiding place underneath the floor grating, the stowaway hit the Sweet Chin Music on the champion. Michaels watched on as Y2J, the man he had feuded with in previous years, pin The Deadman.

Undertaker accepted HBK’s WrestleMania 26 challenge, hoping to get revenge on the man that cost him the World Title. While the Streak vs. Career match didn’t go as Michaels had planned, this elimination was still a win for The Heartbreak Kid.

 4) Jeff Hardy and Triple H Eliminate Big Show – No Way Out 2009

Edge wasn’t the only man who had his WWE Championship dreams crushed by Jeff Hardy inside the 2009 Chamber. With an assist from The Game, Hardy slayed The Giant.

Capitalising on an injured Big Show, The Game floored The World’s Largest Athlete with a Pedigree. Unable to make the cover, The Giant was prone in the middle of the ring.

Hardy had watched all of this from the top of a Chamber pod. Seizing the opportunity, The Charismatic Enigma nailed Big Show with a super-Swanton Bomb, before Triple H made the cover.

I don’t think anything fits their respective characters more than Hardy going high-risk, and The Game stealing the glory. An Elimination Chamber match filled with memorable moments, Big Show’s elimination could be the most unforgettable.
