WWE
In an unexpected announcement during Wrestlepalooza 2025, Stephanie McMahon was confirmed as the first inductee in the 2026 class of the WWE Hall of Fame.
With WWE breaking this news earlier than they typically do with Hall of Fame announcements, perhaps we won’t have to wait too long before finding out the rest of the inductees into next year’s class.
Here are 12 more potential inductees into the 2026 WWE Hall of Fame.
12. Batista

Not only one of the most successful WWE-to-Hollywood transition stories, “The Animal” Batista is a bonafide Hall of Famer in waiting, and someone who feels especially overdue for an induction.
Batista was originally announced as a member of the 2020 WWE Hall of Fame class, however, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the ceremony was postponed. Unlike other 2020 inductees, Batista didn’t get inducted the following year, with the former multi-time world champion confirming this was due to having prior commitments.
According to Batista, scheduling conflicts then prevented him going into the Hall of Fame again in 2023, but if the stars align, Batista could potentially finally get inducted in 2026.
If he does then he could very well also be the headliner, however, with Triple H presumably being the one to induct Stephanie McMahon, he may need someone other than his WWE mentor to pay tribute to him at the ceremony.
