2024 was not only the year that AEW turned five, but it was also a year that saw some of the highest profile new signings in their history.
While signed in late 2023, Will Ospreay began life in AEW properly in March, a month that also saw the Mercedes Moné and Kazuchika Okada both officially become All Elite.
Later in the year saw the arrivals of former WWE stars Ricochet, MVP, Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley – four names that look set for a big role on TV in 2025.
But what new faces will join them on AEW’s roster in 2025? Here are nine potential new signings for the coming year.
9. Ross & Marshall Von Erich
In July Marshall & Ross Von Erich announced that they had signed a deal with AEW to compete in a “few matches” for the company.
These “few matches” saw the brothers capture the ROH Six-Man Tag Championships along with Dustin Rhodes.
Several more appearances on AEW and ROH would follow, however, this run was cut short when Marshall announced that he had suffered a torn pectoral in October.
Despite this the Von Erich and Dustin Rhodes have not been stripped of their championships, so one would expect they will pick up where they left off when Marshall is fit and healthy. When this happens we could also potentially see he and Ross signed to AEW on a full-time basis, leading to more appearances on mainline AEW programming in 2025.
