9 New WWE Stars To Join NXT WWE, NJPW

The announcement of the upcoming WWE transfer window has been the topic of conversation amongst fans this week, with all stars from WWE Raw, NXT and SmackDown set to be eligible to be moved around.

Whenever a draft or shake-up comes around, one of the most interesting aspects is what NXT call-ups we will see, however, with stars being swapped around all three brands it seems highly likely that we see main roster talent move to WWE’s third brand also.

WWE NXT has proven to be a place for floundering main roster talent to receive a new lease on life, reaching higher than the sometimes limited opportunities Raw or SmackDown affords them.

The transfer window will also allow opportunity for brand new faces to be debuted on NXT in an effective way, with some stars waiting in the wings for a first appearance in the company.

Here are 9 new WWE stars to move to NXT:

9. Apollo Crews

WWE star Apollo Crews

This past Friday’s SmackDown saw Apollo Crews make one of his first appearances in quite some time at the opening of the show.

Unfortunately for the former United States and Intercontinental Champion it was not a positive appearance, as he was instead fodder for an angry Bloodline who beat him up as he entered the Target Center in Minneapolis.

Despite being in WWE for almost a decade, Crews has long been in a state of limbo without much direction or TV time, save for his brief periods of success holding gold as mentioned.

One of the few bright spots in recent years however, came when Crews moved back to NXT and to be honest he never really should have been drafted away from Tuesday nights back in 2023. Hopefully the transfer window corrects that and moves him back to the brand.
