WWE programming was better this week, but not in the ratings. Once again, I watched Raw and SmackDown and wrote down my top nine questions:
Is Renee Young About To Turn Heel?
Every week, WWE’s answer to Bert and Ernie, Corey Graves and Michael Cole, pester Renee Young about Dean Ambrose. Every week, she awkwardly tells them that she doesn’t know, or, like this week that a husband and a wife deserve privacy.
Young seemed legitimately taken aback and angry about the question on Raw. In fact, the repetitive harassment from Graves and Cole seems to have changed her temperament overall. Since joining the announce team, her character has gone from starry-eyed babyface to someone who can and will stand up for herself and get a few jabs of her own in.
WWE has two options at this point. They can either stop having Cole and Graves call her out, or they can keep up the harassment until Renee either snaps and joins her husband on the dark side.
