AEW Double Or Nothing is traditionally one of the most important pay-per-views on the company’s calendar, and 2025’s event is looking to be no different.
With several big matches made official already, there will be many major moments that take place in Phoenix, Arizona on May 25, including the potential return of injured or absent talent.
Here are nine potential returns at AEW Double Or Nothing 2025.
9. Mina Shirakawa
At the end of March, Mina Shirakawa announced that she would be departing STARDOM and heading to the United States.
Making her return to All Elite Wrestling, Shirakawa will now become an official member of the company’s roster and should be in line for a major push.
The former Wonder of Stardom Champion has already faced some of the top talent in the AEW women’s division, such as Timeless Toni Storm, Harley Cameron and Mercedes Mone.
Now that she has officially signed, AEW Double Or Nothing 2025 feels like an appropriate stage for Shirakawa to make her return to the promotion.
