AEW
Coming off the heels of AEW Full Gear 2025, Worlds End will mark the final pay-per-view event of the year on Saturday, December 27 from Chicago, Illinois.
There are a wide variety of names on the AEW roster who could make their return to the company at the huge show to close out 2025.
From those injured, to absent stars who have been sidelined, there could be some notable returns at AEW Worlds End 2025 that will impact the landscape of the company in the new year.
Here are nine potential returns at AEW Worlds End 2025.
9. MJF

At AEW All Out 2025, Mark Briscoe defeated MJF to win a Tables N’ Tacks Match. Following this loss, Maxwell Jacob Friedman announced that he was taking some time off to rediscover his edge and killer instinct.
The former AEW World Champion still owns a guaranteed shot at the top prize in All Elite Wrestling due to his win in the Men’s Casino Gauntlet at All In: Texas 2025.
With all these storyline ties, it should lead to Friedman coming back into play sooner rather than later.
In the last PPV of the year, MJF could return at Worlds End 2025 and immediately thrust himself into the main title picture once more now that Samoa Joe is a two-time AEW World Champion.
