On the other end of the DIY spectrum, Tommaso Ciampa could have just as much singles potential as his tag team partner.
Excelling as a dastardly heel, Ciampa reigned at the top of the NXT brand for several years with the crowd booing him out of several arenas.
Holding the NXT Championship on two occasions, Ciampa proved that he could be a singles star, so it’s up to Triple H and WWE to figure out a way to recapture this magic on the main roster.
If Ciampa is once again the reason for the DIY split, it could lead to the promotion trying to recreate the best rivalry of NXT’s history.
