Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus – WrestleMania XXX

Imagine sitting down to watch a nice movie, when all of a sudden the characters you have heavy invested interest in are only shown for one or two scenes, while the main focus is two protags you don’t care about anymore.

This was very nearly the reality in this timeline at WrestleMania XXX, and out there somewhere, exists a world in which Daniel Bryan and Sheamus did face off in the third match at WrestleMania XXX.

This world had Randy Orton vs Batista as the main event, the ending of the streak, and Bryan third from the top. THAT world’s WrestleMania XXX sounds terrifying.

Does Bryan end up reaching the top, or does he flounder as a memorable time of WWE not striking while the iron is hot? Thankfully we don’t have to find out.
