3. The Don Callis Family
With Don Callis easily rivalling Chris Jericho as the AEW name with the most fan heat, one would imagine that a faction built entirely around him would be an easy win for AEW and the stars added to its ranks.
However, instead the group has sadly been a bit of a let down, feeling inconsequential and not actually elevating the talent involved that much.
Kyle Fletcher has been perhaps the biggest beneficiary recently, but Konosuke Takeshita hasn’t been pushed to the level many would have hoped or expected.
Powerhouse Hobbs sadly got derailed by injury and Sammy Guevara’s time in the group was entirely forgettable and brief. Following this week’s Dynamite a major angle with Will Ospreay is on the table, so hopefully their fortunes turn around.
