Moving on to Dustin Rhodes’ ex-tag partner now, and Keith Lee is among the names typically brought up when discussing which AEW talent could make the move to WWE.
That’s because not only is Lee one of many AEW stars in the middle of a prolonged TV absence, but he was also a firm favorite of Triple H back in WWE NXT.
While serious question marks remain regarding Lee’s health status, if the former NXT Champion is fit and available at the end of his AEW deal, one would imagine Triple H would jump at the opportunity to re-sign him.
With Lee’s wife Michin enjoying success on SmackDown in her second WWE stint, one would imagine the Limitless one may also feel he has unfinished business in the company from his prior run.
